SEO is more than just visibility—it's a strategy to fine-tune your digital presence for a lasting impact. While the standard SEO tools at Vev have served our users well, we wanted to offer an advanced toolset to our Pro & Org users.

🎊Introducing Custom SEO Settings, designed for teams that aim to tailor their settings with precision.

Custom SEO Settings

To access SEO settings, go to “Hosting” and choose your desired domain. Under the “SEO settings” menu, you'll find customization tools. While Vev starts projects with auto-generated SEO settings, you can now modify the following:

  1. Robots.txt
With our custom robots.txt controls, you can determine which pages get indexed. The settings allow for both disabling and enabling indexing for your projects. For more specific control over certain pages, the “Custom robots.txt” option is where you’ll want to turn.
  2. Sitemap.xml
The sitemap.xml provides search engines with an overview of your site's structure, indicating pages and content available for crawling and indexing. When you publish a project, Vev will automatically generate the sitemap.xml file, but manual modifications can now be made.
  3. HTTP Headers
With HTTP Headers, you can define specific headers for cache control, domain verification, and network rules. Due to its complexity, we recommend collaborating with your dev team to adjust these settings.

As always, reach out at hello@vev.design with your thoughts or suggestions. 🫶
