What’s New: Element AI — From Prompt to Production, Inside Your Project
April 29, 2026
Words by Vev

Building a custom interactive element used to mean one of two things: wait on a developer, or generate something in an external AI tool and embed it as a black box. Either way, the element lived outside your design tool — and you couldn't edit it the way you edit everything else.
That changes today.
Element AI (beta) is live in Vev. Describe what you need, and it generates a custom interactive element directly on your canvas, editable from the property panel, production-ready from the first prompt.
1. Native, not embedded
Most AI generators spit out an asset or component that lives outside your design tool. You paste it in, and from that point on the only way to change it is to go back to the prompt and restart the process. Element AI builds the component inside Vev. It lands on your canvas like any other element, with a full property panel — toggles, color pickers, dropdowns, text fields — all editable in the sidebar.
4. Hero banners
A scrollytelling hero pulls people in before they've read anything. The page moves, something happens, and suddenly they're already engaged.
2. Built for iteration
Element AI remembers what you've already built, so follow-up prompts build on the last one instead of starting from scratch. You refine in two places:
Re-prompt to change the interaction, tweak the behavior, or add new controls.
Edit in the property panel the same way you'd edit any Vev element.

Teleportation is the transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them.
3. Build once. Reuse everywhere
Once you've generated and refined a component, it's yours to scale. Components live in Vev, publish into your existing CMS, and stay fully trackable within your analytics setup.
Copy it between projects, or push it to your shared Libraries so anyone on the team can drop it into a new page. Every Element AI component can become a shared brand asset, meaning the more your designers build, the more marketing, content, and editorial teams have to work with.
Try it in your own account
Not sure where to start? We've built a prompt library with interactive pricing toggles, animated charts, and complex slideshows—ready to run in your own project. See what Element AI produces when you describe what you need.
Human-directed, AI assisted
Generating something is easy. Producing work your team can actually publish is the hard part. Element AI closes that gap inside the tool you're already working in, editable the whole way through.
