What’s New: Motion. Add Depth and Movement in Seconds

Sometimes a page just needs a bit of movement.

Today we’re introducing Motion: 12 animated, interactive elements you can drop into any Vev project to instantly add depth and motion.

Built with WebGL (so it runs smoothly in the browser), Motions are designed to look stunning without slowing down your page—whether you’re building a bold hero section or adding subtle ambient movement behind your content.

Immersive visuals, minus the hassle

If you’ve ever tried adding motion to a page before, you know the usual options:

• Infinite video loops
• A messy pile of layers
• GIFs

Motion skips all that. You just drag one in, resize it like a normal element, and adjust the look in the side panel until it feels right.

Pick your favorite and customize

Each Motion element comes with its own controls, so you can shape the animation to match your brand style and tone. Go bold or subtle, it’s up to you.

Aurora

A flowing northern-lights effect with color gradients and wave motion.

Color Bends

Abstract, flowing color patterns that warp and bend with mouse-reactive distortion.

Galaxy

A starfield-inspired effect with glowing particles and optional mouse-driven repulsion.

Particles

A 3D particle system with customizable colors, count, and movement patterns.

Faulty Terminal

A retro digital display effect reminiscent of old CRT monitors and matrix-style; effects will show on mouse-hover.

Floating Lines

Elegantly animated lines that float and wave across the screen.

Gradient Blinds

Animated gradient stripes with a spotlight effect that follows mouse movement.

Orb

A glowing, animated orb with hover effects, as they pulse and rotate.

Prism

A rotating prismatic crystal shape with rainbow light refraction effects.

Prismatic Burst

Radiating rays of prismatic light that burst from the center.

Threads

Flowing animated threads or strings that wave across the screen.

Light Pillar

Ethereal light pillar that glows and rotates.

Get started with Motion

To add one to your page:

Add → Motion (under “Elements”) → drag onto canvas → customize in Properties
