What's New:Video Scroll, Hover Gallery, 3D Image Carousel and Forms

One of the reasons Vev is preferred over other visual web builders is due to its rich library of pre-built design components, such as scrollytelling, parallax, and horizontal scrolling. Thanks to these tools, you can produce a stunning website without writing a single line of code. And guess what? Our library has just grown even bigger.

We're thrilled to announce that Vev has given birth to a bunch of new components: a revamped Video Scroll, Hover Gallery, 3D Image Carousel, and your favorite form integrations. Let's take a look!

Video Scroll 2.0

Apple is well-known for slick animations on its product pages, including video scrolling. Last year, we re-created the very same effects as a pre-built feature. You loved it, and so did we, but we wanted to make it even better. That’s why we’ve rebuilt it to make it even smoother and more powerful.

The new version works like a charm on all devices and retains the original quality video frames without compressing them, resulting in a much smoother performance. Each frame is taken at a whopping 1080p resolution and creates a visually engaging journey for the audience as they scroll the page.

Hover Gallery

There are a myriad of ways to showcase images on the web, but image galleries have been lacking some creativity for a while now. That’s about to change as Vev’s Hover Gallery has just entered the game.

If you recall, earlier this year we brought all our Vev developers together for the first time for a three-day hackathon—Hover Gallery was one of six features they managed to create and our absolute favorite. With the Hover Gallery, your audience can interact with images in a slideshow style in full screen as they hover, adding somewhat of a morphing effect. It’s a great feature for showcasing your portfolio, product images, photographs, and much more.

3D Image Carousel

We're not done—meet 3D Image Carousel, yet another feature born from our hackathon! This is a multimedia carousel slider in 3D that can display multiple images, adding instant movement and depth to static content. Simply add three or more cards to create the carousel effect. You can place images, text, or CTA buttons for more dynamic page navigation.

Google Forms, HubSpot, and Mailchimp

You can now search and embed your favorite forms into Vev projects, which are each labeled as a standalone widget (previously available via Embed Anything). Just copy and paste your form links or code into the corresponding Vev widget, and presto! It’s integrated seamlessly. Click the button below to learn more.
